Hub 8 & Stonefields Netball Stars

Last night Mr Stuart, Whaea Nin and I took our weekly team meeting down to the ASB Netball Stadium to support our Year 4 netball teams.
The Stonefeilds Ruapehu team with Isabelle, Charlie, Riley, Michael and Margot was playing against Pt England School and the Stonefields Mt Cook team with Jade, Mikayla, Ava, Danielle, Kodi and Emily were playing Remuera Primary.
It was a fantastic demonstration of participation, skill, fun and team work. Best of all, both the Stonefield's Teams won! Though, their opponents definitely put up some good defence and made them work for it.

Later that evening, the Yr 5 Stonefields Mt Egmont team with Isabella, Izzy, Keira, Zoe, Ainsley, Lucia, (Mugdha, and Leila absent) played against Meadowbank Primary. They played a fantastic game and drew 5 all. Our very own Isabella earned the Player of the Day award.

Also, on Tuesday evening the Year 6 competition was held. The team has 9 players: Aashna, Pativai, Faith, Cooper, Holly, Vera, Charlotte, Esmae and Ella. They scored 29-1 against Remuera, and Holly was named Player of the Day
