In literacy, Mrs Parker's group have been learning about how to write a procedural text, we had to watch some youtube videos with no sounds, and write the steps by our self. We also got to add some photo's to go with our writing, to make it easier to understand.
How to draw a elephant (easy)
Materials
Paper
Pencil/Pen/Vivid/Sharpie
A circle for tracing(optional)
Colouring pens (optional)
Instructions
1) Get your piece of paper and your pencil then draw a circle for the face of the elephant.
2) Now draw two curved lines going of the bottom a little bit side.
3) To make the hands on each side draw a horizontal line then another
straight line going up from each side and then connect it together!
4) Draw a circle on each side then connect them to the elephant's body.
5) He needs to have some nails!
6) Go ahead and draw him a trunk.
7) Draw your elephant some eyes and also draw him some ears to make them look more realistic add a line in the ears.
8) Colour the eyes in and make sure you leave a white spot in the middle.
9) For some finishing touches draw a few lines on the trunk, and some hair on the elephant.
10) If you want to make your elephant colourful, colour it in with coloured pencils!
Handy tips
If you want to make a perfect circle you can get a round object and trace it.
