Despite the dark clouds hovering in the horizon and threatening rain this morning, Hub 8 got packed their water bottles, lunch boxes, art equipment and of course, a rain jacket then embarked on a leisurely stroll up Maungarei (Mt Wellington). It was great to get to know one another outside of school, at the top we learned a little about some of the history of the mountain and the battles that had once occurred there.
